Amonext Cream contains Amorolfine Hydrochloride 0.25%, a potent antifungal agent used topically for the treatment of various superficial fungal infections of the skin. It is effective against dermatophytes, yeasts, and other fungi causing infections such as ringworm tinea corporis, athlete’s foot tinea pedis, jock itch tinea cruris, fungal infections of the hands tinea manuum, candidiasis, and pityriasis versicolor.

Mechanism of Action:

Amorolfine works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This disruption leads to increased permeability and ultimately fungal cell death.
